3 Best Seafood Restaurants in Aberdeen, UK

We came an hour early for our reservation. No problem. The table in the corner was just perfect. A promising menu was presented, alongside the adequate wine list. We choose two glasses of beautiful savingon blanche, fish soup, and scallops. The starters were delicious. The fish soup came in a generous portion. It was tasty and fresh. Scallops were equally perfect. The miniature cubes of fried black pudding enhanced the taste of the dish. Sweet and salty flavours in perfect harmony together with the texture of the black pudding and the crust of the perfectly fried scallops. Both starters left us with a peaceful mind and utterly enjoyment. The expectations for the main dishes were astronomical. The risotto were well balanced with a pronounced taste of mushrooms. The texture of the rice was on the spot. The fried sea bass was crisp outside and moist and tender inside. Sweet potatoes, citrus, sweet pies, and broccolini were enhancing the complexity. A new combination for me. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We'll be back as soon as possible.

Was given a last minute night off work and decided to go for some food at a place I've been eyeing up for a while! I can tell you it surpassed my expectations! No nonsense well cooked seafood served in a quirky, yet, warm and comfortable environment! I had the scallops to start. I would have loved a wee bit more pancetta action on the plate but I think thats a personal preference! My friend had the Cullen skink! What a bowl of soup that was!!!!! We both had the sea bass! Great! Just great! Super crispy, well seasoned skin and just a delight to eat! I would have loved a bit more samphire on my plate, but that's just me! It was a quiet night in the restaurant, although I think that was across the board for industry tonight! I noted the manager preparing a table for a couple of older customers with poor mobility well in advance! I'm assuming they were regulars, but a very attentive none the less! Would definitely recommend and I will be back again.

Genuinely, one of the most enjoyable meals I've had in the longest time. The staff were so lovely and gave us such food for thought about where to go within Aberdeen. The food was so good. I kept on eating despite being very full. Really nice.

The food was spot on! The ingredients, presentation and more importantly the taste was spectacular. Would definitely visit again. It's a very quaint place, very simple and accommodating. We had the oysters, the hake, and the leek dish. The desert was dark chocolate with the salted caramel - absolutely divine.

We went in for the 4 course taster menu through itison. £75 well spent. The food was fantastic, each course was superb, the paired cocktail was nice too. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive but no over bearing. The only down side was it could have been warmer in the restaurant.... that said it was probably about 0°C outside so its understandable.

It was our first time at the moonfish cafe but it won't be our last. Lovely service and atmosphere but the food was out of this world.
