Staff are friendly and most importantly helpful my son needed shoes for school and we didn't know what size would be best but the lady helping us measured his feet properly and got his size perfect my son enjoyed having them running round after him because he couldn't make up his mind on what shoes to go for she didn't get stressed out she went along with him great experience and my first time there will deffo use Clarks again.

Best service of any shop for years. Not only helped us two elderly folk with the shoes we looked at, but brought out boxes and boxes of similar, and knew their stock inside out. We had just been in M&S, no assistants, no range of sizes, and nowhere to sit properly to try on shoes. We walked out spending nothing. In Clarks we spent over £200. Well done the staff in the Southend store.

Excellent service from a lovely young lady named Chloe. She was very friendly and helpful. I have always found staff in Clarks very nice. There are not many shoe shops left in Southend high street, but you can always rely on Clarks to have what you are looking for. Highly recommended.

Shop here alot live this shop for my child although have needed to take a few trainers back due to being faulty great shop all round just stay away from the bright coloured kids trainers that have the bubble and look like Nike's they have all been faulty but have always had a great experience when returning them they take the trainers I choose new pair the staff make it alot more nicer experience.

Great selection of footwear, helpful staff but never any pressure. Makes for a welcoming shop. They are happy to order things in and keep you appraised of the status.

You can get some bargains here and on the whole it's a great shop,can be slow at the tills but worth a visit.

On Friday June 8th at just before 5pm I wanted to get some new summer flats so I saw a young lady, I won't say her name for data protection reasons but she helped me with a pair of shoes that I was trying on and she was open, honest and genuine. She helped me get the right fit and I was so happy with the service that I bought a second pair. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone. The quality is brilliant and so comfortable.

Spent some time choosing sandals here. The shop assistant couldn't have been more kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. I even had a shoe fitting with a machine that scanned my feet and then suggested she sizes and styles that would fit my feet. Bought a lovely and comfortable pair of sandals which I have worn frequently since. Highly recommended.

Very helpful and professional staff. Didn't have the the shoes I wanted in my size in store. They sourced the shoes in another branch and it was sent free of charge to my home address.
