Everything about hiring the unit was a great experience and I will definitely be recommending yourselves to friends and family. I’m sure I’ll need to hire space again in future so it’s good to know there’s a great business I can trust. Thank you.

Very good service all the time! Flexible and easy to use 24h hours. Cheap price NEW and clean containers. When finished got immediately refund unused days. Really recommended.

Fantastic company, I really recommend them!!!!!! The drivers are always so friendly, helpful and efficient. The quotes are reasonable and the email team (Dave, Steve, John and maybe there are others I haven't spoken to yet) is great. I used them to store my items over summer 2023 and again in the summer 2024 and both times I had a great experience.

Prompt responses, and friendly staff. My stuff was safe for the month I stored it and as a student they picked it up and dropped it off for free. The one issue I encountered was dealt with quickly and efficiently.

This company have been incredibly helpful, superb service from all staff . Really useful to have opportunity to store pre house move items. Highly recommend.

Having been quite nervous about working out storage options in the midst of my house move over the last few months, I have been so reassured and grateful for the excellent customer service I have received from Durham Yard Self Store. Nick has been so solicitous throughout the process, taking considerable time and care to discuss things through with me, always responding promptly to my queries and giving the whole process a refreshingly personal touch. He even very kindly dropped the keys off to me personally the week before my move to take the pressure away from the stress of moving day! I also especially appreciated the careful video tutorials sent out to ensure smooth and easy first time access into the unit. So far so good!

The self storage itself is automated and super easy to use, the containers are dry and in belting condition. Set up and keys handover is super quick and easy and nick will show you how to undo the padlock and open the container, what to do if it gets stuck etc. Nick is an absolute top guy, really communicative and has been nothing but helpful and lovely to speak to. Told my mates who run a charity to start using yard for their lock up and would 100% recommend to any mates who needed self storage ????
