The team at Coombe Lodge were truly fantastic at helping organise and run our big day, especially Charlotte T who was our Wedding Planner there. Charlotte, was specifically great at comms and getting things sorted when I needed them and I am truly thankful for that as it removed a lot of stress from me. Though we must say the whole team made the day absolutely wonderful through ensuing everything ran smoothly running up to and on the big day. One of our guests was a head chef for a high end hotel in Amsterdam that often hosts the Dutch royal family and they were impressed with how professional all the staff were. In particular how smooth, well organised, and polite the service was. Additionally, every guest came up to us and said how wonderful the food was, because it really was. Honestly the whole experience from booking our date, planning to the big day itself was made truly fabulous by the staff at Coombe Lodge. If you are considering booking your wedding here then we highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for hosting our wedding, WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! Such a beautiful venue for our special day. The day ran very smoothly and all staff were incredibly helpful. All of our guests loved the vegan menu, which you helped bring to life. The dinning room lights up with the most beautiful light through the many windows and all these touches really made the day special.

My son and daughter-in-law got married here. Coombe Lodge was perfect, the food was excellent and the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Highly recommended.

ALDWICK ESTATE REVIEWS

This is a double review. First, the Vineyard Tour and Wine Tasting. This was excellent. The guide knew so much about the Vineyard and the wines and told the history as a series of stories. He was obviously so proud of what had been achieved since the vines were first planted. Second, it is a review of the accommodation. We stayed in The Forge, a 1 bedroom apartment. It was well equipped, with a kitchenette (oven, hob, microwave, etc.), a comfortable seating area with a TV and Wi-Fi. There was a large double bed in the bedroom with plenty of space for clothes. We only stayed for 2 nights but we would have been happy to stay much longer.

we had our wedding at Aldwick estate and it was prefect. the staff are all so friendly and professional. The venue looks amazing with great rooms for a few guests to stay overnight, with an amazing lodge at the top of the vineyard for the newly weds. They were quick to respond to any questions or queries which made the whole process easy and stress free.

We did the wine tasting and had a picnic with a bottle of fizz afterwards. Really lovely experience - Howard was very knowledgeable and explained the craft and business very well. Highly recommended.

OLD DOWN ESTATE REVIEWS

This is such a gem of a wedding venue in a beautiful setting As photographers and videographers, we love the light, bright and airy feel of the rooms, both for getting ready (awesome bridal suite) and in the reception area and foyer. The walled garden is so pretty and peaceful and the photo opps are endless here. There is a also a lake further down, which is a short walk from the main house and definitely worth a trip (brides, wear flats). The team will ensure you are having the best day ever and that you don't have to worry about a thing. We can highly recommend Old Down and look forward to working here again soon.

It was absolutely amazing from the lights to the food. I loved the crumble !! My granddaughter loved the making of the art stuff and feeding the donkey..and the marshmallows!! Lovely friendly staff, big smiles from them evdn on a cold wet evening so helpful we will be coming back.

Visited for a wedding and it was gorgeous. Beautiful gardens and a lot for children to do. Need to return and visit properly!
