“Ashfield House is a family-run venue where couples can take over exclusively for the day. They have a multi-award-winning events team and a layout that is perfect for special and unique weddings. The atmosphere here is full of love and joy, probably because of the absolute legends that make up their wedding team. The venue has 15 guest bedrooms, and in-house bespoke catering is also available. The team always ensures that they provide their best service to guests and add special touches to make each event unforgettable. For weddings, up to 120 guests can be accommodated during the daytime and 250 guests in the evening. Ashfield House is close to the borders of Lancashire, Greater Manchester, and Merseyside. Their house is a gorgeous blank canvas for weddings.

2025 Update: Ashfield House was owned by Katie Street. She is also a wedding coordinator involved in the day to day running of the business and helping couples plan their weddings.”

Ashfield House was perfect for our wedding day! All staff were amazing throughout the entire planning process and those that were present during the day were exceptional. The house itself was stunningly decorated, squeaky clean, and suited our needs perfectly, with plenty of space both inside and outside the house. There were so many beautiful spots for our friendly and family to hang out, and for us to have our photos taken. The chefs were equally out of this world. We asked for specific things not on the menu and they really pulled it out of the bag. Up there with one of the nicest meals we have ever had - let alone wedding food! Ashfield House went above and beyond continually. We could not recommend more.

Lovely venue, very helpful and friendly staff. Leanne, Jenny and gordan along with rest of team where great to work with. Food excellent, great wedding photography areas and I look forward to coming back in the near future to capture other weddings.

Local friendly customers, just like a phoenix, rising from the ashes. Great to see a community pub serving the community. With so much negativity with bars and pubs, nice to here a positive story of a good local club. Keep it up.

BLC is the best place to be. Beers always bang on, good prices and more importantly your surrounded by the best people you could ever ask to meet which creates the great family atmosphere! Love the place.

We booked the upstairs room for a fake wedding for a new TV comedy series the staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble we had use of the bar which was great. I would booked this place for future party's.

Grant Your Wish Cakes, delivered a Wedding cake for Mr & Mrs Fairhurst. On entering the venue I could smell the delicious menu being cooked. Chef, manager, waiting staff. Kitchen staff all very helpful, professional. The room looked incredible. I'd recommend to anyone wanting a venue for a Wedding, celebration.

A beautiful venue. We recently held a reception there following our dads funeral. The buffet was lovely. Big thanks to Trevor and staff. The Seddon Family.
