“Haigh Woodland Park has a miniature railway, adventure golf, high ropes for aerial adventures and a kitchen courtyard. The kids can have a tremendous time in the adventure play park, complete with climbing frames, swings and seesaws. Haigh Woodland Park has an extensive playground with diverse equipment for kids. Their varied programme of events means there’s always something new to enjoy. This park is a perfect place for those who love adventure. There are toilets and male and female changing facilities on the corner of the Stables building, on the front side near the Graze in The Park cafe terrace.

What a lovely place to spend the day! A really nice park with stunning scenery and plenty to do with the kids. There are some lovely gardens to enjoy & a crazy golf course as well as a climbing site. I Was very impressed with the courtyard food court which had a good sized seating area and lots of options of food choice at a reasonable price. I also very much enjoyed my pint of San Miguel later in the day as the kids had an ice-cream, possibly the first time I've ever had a pint in a park in the UK but it won't be the last. Dog-friendliness: Very dog friendly place.

Great day out for the family. Nice leisurely walk through the grounds and woodland, with picnic tables set along the foot path. Great park area for children of all ages. Numerous choices for a bite to eat. Painting facilities to make something to take home.

Very nice park as you can spent a entire day here is the weather is really warm. Is perfect for the kids and even better for the parents as you can relax while they enjoy their activities. Be aware that the car park bill will be hefty,other than that is brill!

MESNES PARK REVIEWS

Mesnes Park is a lovely place to visit for all the family with lots to do. There's the pavilion cafe with its in and outdoor seating, which overlooks the park. A playground and duck pond for the children to play and feed the ducks. There us a quiet place to seat in the rose garden.Plenty of out door space for a picnic and bring your own outdoor games, if the sun is shining . If you decide to visit I hope you enjoy yourself.

This park is absolutely beautiful and amazing for all families! We have been there couple of times and always happy to come back. Place is really well looked after and during summer time nice place for picnic and ice cream in the cafe. Have nothing bad to say about the park.

A lovely park! Very dog friendly as it was dog city! We quickly popped to the cafe, not much seating unfortunately but the ice cream was one of the best I've had. Definitely worth five stars for that alone.

BEACON COUNTRY PARK REVIEWS

Great views from hill, lovely scenery. Multiple bins dotted around so there's no litter. Lots of benches for eating, ideal for families. Perfect for dog walkers, or anyone else in general who wants to take a nice walk. There are three parks near the visitor centre, two for young kids, and one for older children. The visitor centre has a free to use hose pipe, to wash your dog, if they had become full of mud.

Wonderful place for children and adults alike. Safe play area for smaller ones and large adventure playground for bigger ones. Wonderful walks and a big gruffly. The visitors centre has a cafe...clean toilets and there's even a bar next door. Great for holfing and golf practice. A gem of a place.

Such a beautiful place to visit with amazing views of the surrounding area as far as the Welsh mountains. The park is great for kids and theirs a cafe too, just in case you you want to grab a coffee and other refreshments.
