For months I had been struggling with a number of life’s stresses and upon recommendation I decided to try acupuncture. Since starting treatment life is beginning to make more sense again and I am not feeling so lost anymore. Whilst my treatment is still on-going, after each session I feel calmer within, my moods feel improved and I leave with positive feelings about the future. As a Practitioner Erik is someone who makes you feel very relaxed during treatment and has helped me put a lot of things into perspective. I would definitely recommend acupuncture as an alternative medicine.

Erik is very thorough and attentive in his practice. His ability to listen and his caring approach allowed me to paint a full picture of my current symptoms, as well as my past and present lifestyle. After having seen numerous doctors with no hint of a diagnosis, I turned to Erik, and am pleased to say the improvement in my condition is astounding. Highly recommended. Thank you Erik.

My IVF clinic recommended having acupuncture alongside my IVF cycle. This was my third cycle with the previous two being unsuccessful. The whole thing was really stressing me out and I didn’t feel like I was coping too well. After seeing Erik I immediately started to feel better in myself and felt like I really benefited from the acupuncture. I did conceive after this IVF attempt and I do feel like acupuncture helped me as I found the whole process a LOT easier. I would recommend other people in a similar position try it!

In just a short space of time Emma has helped me greatly through acupuncture. Initially I had severe neck and shoulder problems which was affecting me in all aspects of my life, I had tried osteopathy and other treatments but the problem stuck with me for years. I felt immediately better after just my first treatment and after a short period of treatments the problem had pretty much vanished .Since then I have developed sciatica, so I returned to Emma and she has made a huge difference. I am now able to control the pain a lot more thanks to regular acupuncture. I also feel that acupuncture has helped me with my general health, I am a lot calmer and less anxious after seeing Emma and overall it has been one of the best decisions I ever made, it really has changed my life.Calm, professional and very quick to put you at your ease, I would highly recommend her.

I was suffering with vertigo for weeks and my GP just gave me drugs which didn’t work. After the 1st session with Emma I felt the vertigo ease and after the 2nd treatment it disappeared completely. That was a couple of months ago and I feel great. Now I have asked Emma to help me with other health issues. I feel I am in good hands.

I have been visiting Dr Mao since the Canton days, and I have always left pain free following treatment. I highly recommend for Muscle injuries and back pain. I visited for help with Sciatica, and Osteitis Pubis, the acupuncture, electropuncture and massage really helped me recover.

I suffer with lower back and neck pain, I have been on several occasions and each time I leave feeling pain free and have an excellent sleep after the acupuncture, I have recommended Dr Mao on several occasions.

DrMao, is the best. Her gentle manner, combined with her knowledge, puts you at ease to let her works miracles. I sufffered with painful carpel tunnel and with 2 sessions, I could finally sleep without pain.
