“Hunterian Art Gallery is one of the best art galleries in Glasgow, established in 1807. The gallery has an extensive art collection and features an outdoor sculpture garden. In addition, they showcase a variety of collections, including coins, insect collections, scientific instruments, ethnographic materials, exhibitions, events, and art. They have 10,000 printed books and 650 manuscripts. They have developed an important collection of works by leading contemporary artists, including Christine Borland, Lucy Skaer, and Adam Pendleton. Their whole collection is ‘Recognised’ as nationally significant in Scotland. Admission is free at the gallery.”
