PHILPS PASTIES REVIEWS
During a recent trip to the beautiful Hayle, Cornwall we stumbled across what has to be the definitive pasty shop. Available in three sizes Philps pasties truly are fantastic, so good in fact that we spent a small fortune to take some back for our family back home in Northampton. The pictures are of my boys smashing down a pasty each at stone Henge on the way home.
Great pasties, I went for the traditional steak pasty and it was absolutely delicious. Glad I purchased 2 in the end! Worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for the traditional Cornish pasty taste. Lots of filling too.
Yummy pasties from Philps. No place to eat at the bakery. So we had to take-away and warm them up at home. But they were delicious.

THE CHOUGH BAKERY REVIEWS
Amazing bakery and when we are in a padstow we make sure it is one of our first stops! They sell a mixture of pasties and cakes and even some local cornish produce. We are not leaving without a pasty though and our favorite is the steak and blue cheese. They have other flavours and I don't think you'd be disappointed with any of them! They do a delivery service of frozen pasties which we have used once of twice! They are always super friendly and have time for a chat no matter how busy they are. Definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing staff, they even spoke to our little girl in the buggy. We had two slices of cake which were very generous size wise, and my husband had his first fresh Cornish pasty which he now highly rates. Would highly recommend.
Simply the best pasty for miles. This is on par with Ivor Dewdneys pasty and to be honest,it brought back childhood memories of living in Saltash. Balance of meat and veg is perfect. Pastry is firm, delicious and crusty. Overall, it is the best traditional pasty I have had in years.

PRIMA BAKERIES REVIEWS
Great pasties and also bought a cream tea while there. Prices are reasonable and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. We had our Guide Dog puppy in training with us and he was accepted into the shop as well. Would recommend a visit.
It is a great traditional bakery which has a superb shop outlet selling freshly made cakes and pasties. They also sell frozen, ready to cook pasties and other items for a real great price. I paid £10 for 4 giant steak pasties, which required warming through for 50 minutes on my return home. Their local Hevva cake is also very tasty.
Really nice Pasties, the Saffron Cake is nearly like homemade with no trace of turmeric for colouring, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
