GREGGS WAKEFIELD REVIEWS

This a Greggs. Hard to believe that anyone would need to read a review of a Greggs, and even less likely that you would bother to read a 5 star review. However, in case you don't know, Greggs make and sell a range of hot pastry based snacks such as steak or chicken slices, pasties and sausage rolls. The sausage rolls I can particularly comment on having once visited the factory where they are made. They are made from decent quality meat and are great!

Don't know the name of the lady who served me this morning. I went in and bought a bacon baguette. She asked if I wanted a drink for 40p extra. I said I would as it was for the homeless man outside. She said he drank tea so this is what I got him. This lady put my faith back into humanity when she told me that if he's there at the end of the day she gets him a water...especially when it's warm...well done Greggs.

Thank you to all the staff and especially the lady that served me, I had to rush off and find my wallet that I had misplaced, when I came back later after finding my wallet she and all the others were so nice and she also remembered my order thank you

Alexandra is an amazing teacher and explained the art of sourdough in easy to understand stages. Lovely lunch provided with fantastic homemade produce. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to start making sourdough.

Did a baking course that involved making bread with baker’s yeast and sourdough and also made cinnamon bread rolls. We got treated to lovely bread, cheese and homemade kombucha and delicious lemon drizzle cake. Alexandra was very knowledgeable, kind, sociable, sweet and patient. All ingredients are organic and high quality which is why we were attracted to the course and the bread is of course delicious.

Excellent and very well-run branch. Friendly employees who are clearly skilled, careful and experienced with oven timings, pasties and other hot food are very consistent - I can't think of a time I've ever had a burnt or undercooked pasty from them. Honest food served well.

A great place to go for a good pastry ect and the bread is lovely the prices are great it's better than Gregg's and cheaper. Well worth a look
