Took my parents here for their first Turkish meal. The service was lovely and friendly, the food was very tasty (and the set menu was a huge amount of food!) and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Plus trying Turkish wine for the first time was good too. Will be back!

First experience of frequenting this restaurant. Had to check before that it was wheelchair accessible. Easy to get in but with helpful staff. We were the only ones in today but the food was gorgeous and great portions and service. Chose the mixed grill for 2 and it was delicious. Excellent range of chicken and lamb, with nice atmosphere, felt like I was in Turkey. Definitely worth a visit and good value for money.

Great food and great service. They were so helpful and generous. The portions are big size, food is delicious and healthy. Many varieties also was good. I recommend this place.

SOFRA TURKISH GRILL REVIEWS

Very tasty Turkish food. Although only chicken and lamb are on the menu, all the meat and vegetables are cooked on fire. Although I am not a fan of lamb because of the specific smell, this meat was cooked very tasty. Will definitely go there with my wife again.

One more thing. When paying out, the service charge is included in the total. We ordered food for £78 but with the service charge included, the total came to £86. Anyway, the food is really good. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. I recommend it to everyone

Unbelievable food. We have walked past and wanted to eat here for ages. Wow I'm so glad we came. Best food in Wakefield hands down. Servive was top notch and well priced. We will be back 100%.

Excellent food, excellent service - we had a lovely evening. The food was delicious; everything had its own distinct flavour which made it particularly enjoyable. The service was attentive but low key; always there when we needed them but not overbearing. Well done to you all.

Very nice authentic Greek food, olives were especially tasty I had lamb with feta and saute potatoes mi partner had mousaka. Service was was good, from the friendly owner....... Shud have been more people in the restaurant......!!

Lovely little place in Pontefract that does lovely food. The host was fantastic as well
