Me my husband and son went earlier today for a meal , all I can say it's as amazing as ever fantastic atmosphere and the refurbishment is awesome. The staff were very welcoming and friendly as usual, we got there an hour early but was seated before our time we had booked , ten out of ten for everything the guy serving us the meat was super friendly and funny too . Loads of food which is always a bonus and tasty as always. Will be definitely going again soon highly recommend to any one either as a family or just on your own. Thank you Toby Carvery your exceptional x.

Visited today for lunch and from the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome by staff members. The food was lovely and I had the carvery. I scored 4 stars but only because the peas were a little under cooked. The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. I highly recommend this place as it was also very good value for money.

First time visit, will not be the last. I took my dad for lunch and it was superb. All the food was freshly cooked so tasty. The staff were very quick and obliging. We had two starters soup and prawn cocktail, two king size carvery, dad had crumble to follow plus hot and cold drinks. Special thank you to the lady chef who went out of her way to do some plain cauliflower for me, I was really touched by that gesture. Thank you.

What a lovely place! Ordered food and expected it to be "just ok". It was actually fantastic! Really nice portions, arrived hot and looked so tasty! (It was). Drinks service was fast too. I literally only went in on a whim but we will be back as a family for sure. Thanks to Sam, Megan and Kieran for being super kind and friendly. Now if you could please move this place closer to my home I would greatly appreciate it . See you soon.

A very relaxed pub with decent food and lovely staff. Popped in for a bit to have dinner and a drink. We opted to sit in the bar area but there is a large area specifically for diners too. The food arrived promptly and was great pub grub, can definitely recommend the chicken burger. The staff were super friendly and we had a very pleasant evening there.

Just been for a last minute meal at The Castle before our gig tonight and the food and service was excellent. Sam and Grant were very polite and accommodating, the atmosphere was peaceful and the decor was lovely.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Iris! The blue cheese arancini for starter was a standout with its well-balanced flavors and lovely texture. The confit duck leg for the main course and the golden snitch for dessert were equally delicious. The service from the staff was excellent. We will definitely be returning for more delicious meals! There was also a good atmosphere in the restaurant… it was busy but not too loud which a good selection of music playing.

Overall a very lovely dinner. Iris seem to be constantly evolving their menu and trying new things, and because of this it's a fun place to eat something you otherwise might not. The starters and mains we ordered were each interesting and different in their own way, and it's clear the chef is experimenting with flavours and textures. The staff were friendly and attentive, and it was a very pleasant evening. Would definitely visit again.

One of the best meals I've ever had. Friendly staff and food worth going for. I had the heritage beetroot followed by the Lamb rump and millionaire shortbread and all 3 courses was brilliant.
