We frequent the castle a lot as it’s close by, dog friendly and has a great atmosphere. We are also always met with amazing customer service where the staff remember our dog and even our new baby. The food today was even better than usual, we were blown away. The truffle cheese donuts and steak sandwich were the highlights, although the squid and chicken starters were also amazing. Big thanks to Jess and Lucy in the kitchen as it truly was amazing today! Overall, the dining experience at The Castle Pub was exceptional. The dedication and skill of Jess and Lucy were evident in every dish, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking delicious, well-crafted food. Whether you're stopping by for a casual meal or a special occasion, The Castle Pub is sure to impress with its fantastic offerings.

Just been for a last minute meal at The Castle before our gig tonight and the food and service was excellent. Sam and Grant were very polite and accommodating, the atmosphere was peaceful and the decor was lovely.

Great service, came for my girlfriend’s birthday. The team really looked after us and nothing was too much trouble! We were recommended the hake special and lamb rump by Sam, did not disappoint! Very fresh and tasty! We’ll be back more often! Thank you.

The freshness, quality & quantity of the salad bar are like none I’ve ever seen. I will go back there again tomorrow. All the meats were good & the lamb was especially delicious. It was very special and It was very, very good value for money and we didn’t feel rushed at all.

Amazing first time experience at Estabulo in Wakefield food 10/10 great experience for my birthday definitely will be coming again meat to die for, all you can eat what more could you ask for.

Amazing place, amazing food. Went early (4ish) for dinner so the restaurant was nice and quiet. The other half hadn't been to one of these places together so maybe it would've been helpful for a staff member to explain how things work but once we got going she was fine. Each of the meats was delicious, all of them great Passion fruit mojito was delicious I'll will definitely be going back.

ROBATARY REVIEWS

First time visit and can highly recommend! My starter of duck pancakes with hoisin sauce was delicious and plentiful (had to share with hubby!) our main courses of red snapper and curried belly pork were beautifully presented, hot on arrival and very tasty. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Second time visiting and as good as I remembered, my cousin who I I introduced it to loved it so much she went back a few days later to find there was a midweek offer on too. Food is gorgeous with loads of great options. A lovely place with nice decor and friendly staff.

Easily the best restaurant in Wakefield. Some of the best food I’ve had my whole life, everything I get here seems to be delicious without a doubt. I’ve been here multiple times and will always keep coming back. Both food and drink are out of this world. Such a perfect spot for a date too since the atmosphere is just so good. Great decor with small intimate lighting for the tables, makes it really feel like it’s just you and the person across from you dinning alone. My parents have also visited the place and weren’t fans of the Asian inspired food so it’s something to keep in mind but regardless a great spot for drinks even if you’re not interested in the food.
