THE RED KITE REVIEWS
Enjoyed delicious sirloin of beef for Sunday lunch & a super tasty banoffee pie for afters. You can never go wrong with a Vintage Inn and our server, Claire, was lovely and helpful. Great location too, as not far off the motorway for a half way meeting point.
Weekday couples evening meal at our local Vintage Inns. We were served by a new waitress called May. She was really lovely - smiley, helpful, presentable and very polite. In restaurants, I find there can be a fine line between being attentive / helpful, and being over intrusive, the latter of which can be somewhat tedious when trying to have an intimate meal. Despite being apparently new to post, I have to say she’s got it spot on. She was knowledgable about menu items, and we both felt very well looked after. Her supervisor was also very friendly and helpful. Our food was tasty, hot and served to our table promptly.
Amazing service, served by Emily, who is extremely obliging and well informed about the menu and and the app. She took our order promptly and also went into the kitchen to ask if they could offer the lasagne, even though it was a Sunday. Perfect meal!

THE HOLMFIELD ARMS REVIEWS
Beautiful large welcoming pub in a beautiful old building. Food for a chain pub was excellent. We were informed of a 30 min wait for food, but didn't feel like we waited at all. The service was quick and very friendly. The outdoor areas looked amazing. Would be great all rugged up on a snowy evening with the twinkling lights. We stumbled across it looking for somewhere to eat on the way home. Would definitely visit again!
Visited on Saturday evening 16th September as a party of 6. Very busy and with a wedding reception taking place in marquees outside I expected very slow service. We've visited a number of times previously as a party of 6/8 and always felt the service slow, as if didn't cope well with groups. Happy to say on this occasion the service was very good which completely surprised me.
This was our first visit and both my husband and I thought the food and service was excellent. Poppy was our waitress and she was so lovely and friendly. Will definitely be back.

THE KAYE ARMS REVIEWS
Lovely Sunday lunch, seated quickly with no reservation made and it was busy. Very good food, would have enjoyed the roast veg a little more roasted & maybe a little extra green veg but would return. Lovely beef & sticky toffee pudding was lovely to finish!
Absolutely brilliant in every sense. Great menu, reasonably priced and very attentive staff. Called on speck after walking in rain! Made very welcome, I can highly recommend slow cooked pork - delicious . Will definitely return.
Last minute booking as place we had booked was unexpectedly closed. Lovely place, Service was excellent, quite complex order, ie lots of extras and omissions and everything came exactly as ordered.
