I've been going to Black Sails Barbers for a few years now, and I have to give a shoutout to Paul for his exceptional work on my beard and mustache. From the moment I sat in his chair, I knew I was in good hands. Paul has a keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for his craft. He takes the time to understand exactly what look I'm going for and offers great suggestions to enhance my style. His precision in trimming and shaping my beard is unmatched, and he always ensures that everything looks symmetrical and neat. My mustache has never looked better—Paul knows just how to sculpt it to perfection. What sets Paul apart is his commitment to customer satisfaction. He’s meticulous, patient, and always makes sure I leave the shop looking sharp or as he would say 'strong' and feeling confident. The atmosphere at Black Sails Barbers is welcoming and professional, making each visit a pleasure. If you're looking for a barber who excels in beard and mustache styling, Paul at Black Sails Barbers is your guy. Highly recommend! As for the haircuts, I can't comment since I have a buzz cut, but judging by the other satisfied customers I see, Paul's skills in that area are probably just as impressive.

Booked to have my well out of control beard restyled. Harry was awesome. Listened to my rambling list of how I liked it, checked if I was happy every step of the way and produced a fantastic result. Very personable to deal with and I’ll be returning regularly. Can’t recommend them enough for their care and professionalism.

Blacksail Barber shop is the place to go to. My hair was cut so accurately and with so much effort put into it. Way better than any other standard barbers out there who won’t give you a proper haircut. Would recommend everyone to try this place out. It’s a 5 stars from me will be back soon.

Amazing. The best haircut of my life. I live in the USA but am in Bath for 5 weeks and I got my haircut twice while I’ve been here because it’s that amazing of an experience (I always cut my own hair and usually go months before I do another cut). My son also had his hair cut twice while here. Just a phenomenal cut. We both had Aron as our barber and he was meticulous with the cuts. The standard haircut finishes with a straight blade around the edges and a fiery ear hair burning - AMAZING - I’ve never seen that in my life and it was such a fun experience to cap it off. They also offer delicious tea if there is a wait. If you’re in Bath and need a cut, don’t hesitate to come here.

Excellent service! The guys are friendly, attentive and cool. This is the best haircut I've had in years, I've gotten so used to wearing a baseball cap that I've forgotten how nice it is to feel good about my hair. I came back the next day with my son.
