The level parkland course has spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is relaxing, challenging, and memorable for golfers of all levels. The course tests and rewards everyone who plays here. Their staff make every effort to ensure that the golf course is in first-class condition. “Bath Golf Club is an 18-hole, 6,464 yards, par 71 parkland golf course. The course is challenging and laid out over the optimum golfing country. Bath Golf Club has a well-maintained driving range. The course has springy downland turf over shallow soil and rapid draining. The club offers a well-stocked professional shop with trolley hire. There is always a comforting environment in which to unwind after the game. Bath Golf Club has an excellent team of golf instructors. They actively encourage new members to the club upon receiving your finalised application. They also offer an extensive drinks menu and a good meal in their clubhouse.

“Bath Approach Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland golf course. Novice golfers can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere as they build confidence and develop their game, while more experienced golfers will relish the opportunity to enhance their vital short-game skills. Most holes play up and down the hill, with the closing holes playing across the slopes. The real challenge lies in the elevations and slopes around the greens. Bath Approach Golf Course is excellent for beginners but can be quite challenging for seasoned golfers.”

LANSDOWN GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Played here in a Seniors Match. Very friendly members and well stocked Pro shop. Only a short game practice area, but there are nets and chipping/putting greens. Tree lined fairways with plenty of OOB. Lovely views across Bath on the 14th. Bunkers are very hard with little sand in them, making it hard to play from so avoid them is my advice! Will definitely be back.

I played here last week and had a great time, the course is in great shape and I loved it, the staff were very accommodating and the buggies they had were in great shape. I would recommend playing golf here to anyone in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyable course in great condition. Got stuck in between members roll up tee times which could’ve been awkward but the members either side were very friendly and welcoming!! Definitely worth a visit

BATH GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

Nice, well kept course with interesting holes and good views. Some of the shorter holes look simple and straightforward from the tee, but it's a course you need to plan your way around. Reasonably wide fairways with some punishing thick rough which certainly punishes an errant strike. Excellent facilities with practice area, nets, open air range, pro shop and restaurant.

First time visit for a match. Love the place. Great course in good condition. All staff helpful and doing a good job. Looking forward to going back already. Thank you to the hospitable members as well.

Great club, the course is a nice play, some spectacular views, good little pro shop, custom club provision and some great PGA pros. It's a very friendly club, none of the snobbery associated with many other clubs, you'll always feel welcome here.

Nice well maintained golf course with options if reductions if you are student or health members. Nice place to go on a sunny day.

Exceptional views, pretty good looking grass and calming footpaths. Would recommend watching the sunset here!

Excellent courses and friendly staff. Good for beginners or people improving they're mid to short game.
