An absolutley marvelous B&B. Fantastically themed rooms that contained all you desired. Very clean and tidy accommodation. The honesty bar was always well stocked and accessible at all times. The staff were amazing, friendly and extremely professional. Breakfast was pre ordered nightly for the next day and there was no limit to what you could order. The location of this B&B could not be better. 2 minutes walk from the west gate. All in all an excellent place to stay in order to enjoy all that Canterbury has to offer.

It is a special and lovely place set in an old and restructured building. I liked everything, and above all the staff who are so friendly. Very nice rooms and gardens. We also enjoyed very much breakfast. If I ever come back to Canterbury, I will for sure book again this hotel.

5 star says it all! Lovely attentive staff, great room and location within Canterbury and a tasty breakfast. Highly recommended.

HARRIET HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST REVIEWS

We went for a short break at Harriet House and it was like going to stay with family. Heidi and Paul were as welcoming and accommodating as ever which is the reason we have been to stay repeatedly over the years. As always the room was immaculate and comfortable as ever with enough space for us and our toddler. Cot available and high chair for the breakfast - a breakfast which is worth the stay alone. All in all, couldn’t recommend Harriet House more highly. Great place to stay, great people to stay with.

I had an extremely comfortable stay where I was made very welcome by the hosts. It was very clean and warm with lots of home comforts. Lovely tasty breakfasts with a variety of choices and gluten free options too. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

This was a very welcoming and well located B &B with everything I needed! The hosts were very friendly, helpful and available while also being unobtrusive. The room was perfect for my needs, and had nice touches. .

We have just spent a night at the Black Horse Inn... great quirky little B&B which was a former pub. Our bedroom no 1 was downstairs with access to the courtyard garden... very nice to have in Summer. The room/ bathroom very clean. Pristine white sheets/ Bathroom towels. Tea/ coffee and TV really all we needed and decorated very nicely. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful... and cooked to order... and plenty of continental choices also. They're is also an option to help yourself to a fridge in the dining room if you need an earlier breakfast. We ordered coffee with breakfast and fresh coffee in it's own cafetiere was provided - nice touch as well as a pot of tea. Great central location. We parked for free just round the corner - would recommend.

Black Horse Inn was perfectly located, with clean and comfortable rooms. Moreover, the hotel staff were exceptionally helpful. I accidentally left my phone at the hotel, and Nat from Black Horse kindly went out of her way to ensure it was safely sent to me in London Many thanks to the whole team for your kindness and excellent service.

Such a nice room in a great location, very quaint and a beautiful private garden. The staff there was so kind and welcoming. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.
