Absolutely delightful and accommodating staff. Went for afternoon tea, including gluten free requirements. Brasserie has a great atmosphere, really relaxed and comfy. The food was fantastic and all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful meeting all of our needs. Highly recommend!!!!! Will be back for sure.

Recently my wife and I stayed here to attend a works event being held in the hotel. Couldn’t fault it, room was clean and fresh, atmosphere was relaxed, staff were friendly and the food was excellent. On top of that, the location is perfect, as it’s right in the heart of Canterbury.

Best hotel, Clean rooms, comfy bed. I'd say it's a bit expensive. But definitely worth it. Its located exactly in the middle of Town Centre. Easy access to the river and shops.

THE FALSTAFF HOTEL REVIEWS

Centrally located to the absolutely lovely downtown area. There are tons of shops and eateries within a very short walk. The room was clean and very quiet. Parking was reasonably priced and the staff is the best. My friend accidentally left her shoes in the room and they are shipping them to her at a minimal cost.

I was super happy with this hotel during our recent stay. All staff were very attentive. Hotel was super clean, top styling and all facilities were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic with good selection. Nice central location. Would recommend.

Enjoyed our stay and loved the decor and delicious breakfast. Very friendly and wonderful location minutes from train and cathedral. Great cocktails and staff.

CANTERBURY CATHEDRAL LODGE REVIEWS

The cathedral lodge hotel hosted our wedding reception and was fantastic. The auditorium was a perfect space for the meals and evening party. Planning was made as easy as possible by the team there, they were super helpful with all our questions, and were on hand on the day to tweak and perfect the day. The chef and kitchen staff are accommodating and skilled. They worked hard to bring our ideas to life and handmade some amazing food for our guests. Alex and Rachel were particularly noteworthy as our liaisons on the day and stopped at nothing to make everything run smoothly so we didn't have to worry about anything.

We held a memorial/Celebration of Life at the Canterbury Cathedral Lodge. I can’t recommend this venue enough. The staff were wonderful, the venue beautiful, and the location stunning. We started with drinks in the Campanile Garden, followed by speeches and food in the Refectory, and an overnight stay: perfection. Great breakfast in the morning followed by a serene wander around the Cathedral before the crowds arrived. I would highly recommend this place.

Had our wedding reception here and the staff were amazing from start to finish. Helped with planning and organising and kept us updated with everything to give us peace of mind. Guest loved the location. Packages are well worth it. Food was delicious.
