Had a great stay felt completly at home with Rosie her friendly chats at breakfast made each day & along with the choice of breakfast freshly prepared individually it was also nice to find homemade cakes in bedrooms ! Rosie has a really clear love of meeting new people and her home is individual not a standard hotel room.

Two nights in Falkirk to take in the Wheel & Kelpies. Couldn't have chosen better B&B. Big, well furnished rooms with wonderful mattresses made for a great night's sleep. Whilst there we weren't confined to our bedroom as Lismore has a massive communal guest room where we spent our evenings. Very good breakfast with the best fruit salad we've ever had. Thoroughly recommended.

Just had three nights staying at Oakland's. My room and the house generally were spotless. The bed (6'6 double) was very comfortable. Shower was great with copious hot water. I was wary that as it is on an A road it would be noisy. It wasn't. The road is traffic-calmed and the traffic quite light. My room at the back of the house was deathly quiet and also had great views. Andrew and Helen were fun, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Location ideal for exploring the Lowlands.
