“The Mariner Centre features a new 65-station gym, cycling studio, a new fitness studio that enables virtual classes, and their new Shapemaster Hub. They offer a Lagoon-shaped leisure pool with a beach area, a wave machine, and a baby pool. The Mariner Centre also has sports facilities, including squash courts and a studio, as well as an excellent gym facility and its fun-filled Great Mariner Reef soft play. They have many facilities that make the clients fully satisfied. Free parking is available. The centre is located in Camelon, a distance of 6 minutes travel time from Falkirk. Wheelchair-accessible and changing places are also available.

2025 Update: The Mariner Centre has on-site parking with 4 disabled bays, and there are also 2 electric charging points.”

“Stenhousemuir Active Health And Fitness offers state-of-the-art gym facilities and has been established in Stenhousemuir town centre. The gym has Technogym equipment as well, and they conduct 40-50 fitness classes per week. They run an extensive learn-to-swim programme across Falkirk. All of their sessions are run in partnership with the Falkirk Fury basketball club and are led by fully qualified and experienced coaches affiliated with the club. Their football programme is a recreational coaching programme, with all sessions delivered indoors. Les Mills and freestyle classes are also available. Free parking and wheelchair facilities are also available at Stenhousemuir Active Health And Fitness.

“Polmont Sports Centre has a fitness room with a blend of aerobic equipment and weights, and a squash court. The centre is located next to Meadowbank Library. They have a broad range of facilities available for booking. Polmont Sports Centre provides high-quality leisure services to its customers. They also provide value-for-money instruction with fully qualified instructors and offer lessons for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. Their children and youth sessions help them to learn more and play netball. Customers can access free parking, and the facilities are wheelchair accessible. Customers are pleased to participate in the activities at Polmont Sports Centre.

2025 Update: Polmont Sports Centre has changing rooms, accessible toilets, showers, and step-free entry. The centre hosts a Car Boot Sale usually on the last Sunday of the month.”

I really enjoy my visits to Mariner Leisure Centre! The new gym is great—it's spacious and has everything I need for a solid workout. The immersive cycling studio is such a fun way to challenge myself, and I love that they offer virtual classes, too.

The leisure pool is perfect for relaxing or having fun, especially with the beach area and wave machine. My kids absolutely adore the Great Mariner Reef soft play; it keeps them entertained for ages.

I feel like Mariner Leisure Centre really caters to everyone’s needs. It’s definitely one of my go-to places for fitness and fun.

STENHOUSEMUIR ACTIVE HEALTH AND FITNESS REVIEWS

I’m particularly impressed with their learn-to-swim program. It’s great to see such a commitment to swimming education, especially with experienced coaches from the Falkirk Fury basketball club leading the sessions. The recreational football coaching is a nice touch too, especially since it takes place indoors.

I can't recommend Stenhousemuir Health and Fitness enough! It’s such a fantastic leisure centre right in the heart of Falkirk. The gym is equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, making workouts really enjoyable.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. First class was a great experience. Signed up for membership. I'll be back. Thankyou.

POLMONT SPORTS CENTRE REVIEWS

I really enjoy my time at Polmont Sports Centre! It’s a great facility right next to Meadowbank Library, making it easy to pop in for a workout. The fitness room is well-equipped with a good mix of aerobic machines and weights, which keeps my workouts varied and fun. I also love having access to a squash court; it’s a great way to challenge myself and have fun with friends.

Having free parking is a big plus, and the wheelchair accessibility shows they really care about everyone in the community. Overall, Polmont Sports Centre is a fantastic place to stay fit and meet new people. I always leave feeling great.

The instructors are fantastic—fully qualified and really supportive. I appreciate that they offer lessons for skiers and snowboarders of all levels; it’s a great opportunity to improve skills. Plus, the children’s netball sessions are wonderful for getting kids active.
