Visited Falkirk stadium on 22nd with my six year old son to take part in a new initiative kelpies to kick off. This involved signing up to complete a 2.5km walk or 5km walk from Falkirk stadium around helix park/kelpies prior to kick off at 3pm. Well organised event with face painting and stunt bike show prior to the walk starting. Well signposted route with marshalls along the route also. After completing the walk my son and I received a goodie bag, tickets to watch the match.

We booked a Bug Extravaganza - £5 per child and it was fantastic. Luckily our two kids were the only two booked in so they got to hold all the animals/reptiles and ask lots of questions. This is situated at Torwood Garden Centre. The boys started with an indoor bug hunt and, craft and meeting a bunch of marvelous mini beasts. RECOMMENDED AGE GROUP – 3-6 years old I'd absolutely recommend this activity whether your child likes creepy crawlies or not. The staff are absolutely excellent also.
