I have always had an great experience at this truly excellent local bike shop and i thoroughly recomend their shop and serviced. Many times I have popped in and the super helpful team have helped me out with my bike if I had an issue with chain or gears without charging me. They have also went out of their way to give me quick appointments for servicing and repairs. They have always given me great advice and all their team are extremely knowledgeable about all cycling disciplines and they are all very keen to help. All servicing is carried out to the highest standard and they have a great range of bikes and any accessory or tool you could need. I feel fortunate to live nearby and have an awesome team that I can trust. This is the best bike shop I have been to in Newcastle and anywhere for that matter. Excellent customer service, by far the best around. Very experienced staff who recommend the best bike and equipment based on the needs of the customer. All staff were great, Ian in particular offered extensive advice and information. Thanks again, highly recommend.

Always friendly and helpful staff, a good range of bikes and accessories, and prompt repairs at a fair price. Of course you can find a better range and prices online, but you can't buy the experience and advice online. Use them or lose them!

If only it would be possible to give 6 here, the team of CJ Performance would absolutely deserve it! Here comes the plot: These guys totally saved our epic Northumberland adventure! My bike’s rear mech was busted, but they made the whole repair process super easy and fast. The staff was friendly, professional, and had me back on the road in no time. Seriously, I thought our trip was doomed, but they came through like heroes! Add great choice of bikes, accessoires and spare parts, free wifi while waiting and even the coffee was good and you get a picture of what to expect from these guys & girl. Just bought a new Hybrid bike from CJ Performance who were brilliant throughout the process. I have had back issues and coccyx pain in the past so needed help in how best to protect those so i can get back into cycling. Brian was a big help in advice around seat posts, tyres and saddles, whilst Chris spent alot of time with me to ensure the bike was set up as back friendly as possible. Thanks again lads for all your help.

My bike needed a derailleur hanger, cassette and chain. It was sorted the same day, I didn't even need to book. Very friendly team. The shop and workshop are both well laid out and uncluttered.
