HARVESTER BASINGSTOKE DEANE REVIEWS

Today I went to the Harvester; it was a delightful experience! This was a late birthday present for me, and I enjoyed it. The salad bar especially the bread was very good, the atmosphere was very nice and cozy in here, even the starter (calamari strips) was perfectly cooked and delectable. The main meal I got was a chicken burger, which was also very yummy. I also had a sundae for desert which I enjoyed too. Service very good, staff polite, especially Waiter Louie, who was polite.

Absolutely love this Harvester. Food is always excellent (get the app/email alerts for great deals throughout the year) and the staff are always wonderful and attentive and happy. Some of the decor is a little tired and the outside area needs a bit of TLC but they’re just minor faults. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

I was tempted in by the aroma of roasting chicken. The resulting plate of goodness did not disappoint. Katie was my lovely waitress, a picture of calm efficiency even though they were under pressure. Parking: Remember to enter your registration at reception.

HATCH REVIEWS

One of the best Greene King pubs we have been in. I gave it 5 stars because Amy was excellent. Attentive and made it a special occasion for my daughter's birthday. Amy made a mistake on the meal ordering but it was a happy accident and she dealt with it very well. The sea bass was lovely, as was the sharing board. My only change would be the battered cod was very dry and all batter. Parking: It's free parking and a parking lot across the road.

We were looked after by Sarah & Jess whilst we dined at the Hatch! Me and my partner decided to take my little sister out for a lovely lunch to celebrate being back from uni and we were pleasantly surprised at how fantastic the pub is. The food was delicious , the service was fantastic and the staff were so very kind. 10/10 would recommend the chicken and bacon sandwich and that salad!!! It is gorgeous.

Excellent food and service. Interesting menu. We had the cheese burger and Duo Chicken. Both were absolutely delicious! We were served by Fernanda and Dean who were so welcoming and friendly. In fact all the staff were good. Will definitely return and highly recommend The Hatch. Advisable to book as it’s so popular now.

Where has this place been all my life?? One of the very best gastropubs we’ve ever been to. The food was superb……and that’s an understatement! Some of the best food we’ve eaten anywhere, ever! Gravlax and Beetroot salad - divine Filet steak was just magnificent (pink peppercorn and blue cheese butter was a revelation) Venison - truly sublime I could go on, but will just book another table instead.

Food was delicious, and it is clear that the owner is super passionate about food and ingredients. Good level of service. Atmosphere warm and welcoming. Highly recommended. The only top tip is to double-check your booking. The booking system seems a little temperamental.

If you love and appreciate local produce and meat then you must go. The venison gnocchi was perfect. Service efficient, friendly and highly competent. Authentic and cosy interiors. 10/10.
