THE CROWN LIQUOR SALOON REVIEWS
What a great experience visiting a local pub while here in Belfast. Staff amazing and the food and pints all fantastic. There were 4 of us and we all tried different menu items. Loved the mussels myself. Great for both locals and tourists.
An amazing pub with so much history! We sat upstairs for dinner and had Irish stew and steak and Guinness pie (and of course a few pints of Guinness!) The food was delicious and reasonably priced; the service was fast and the waiters were very helpful. It was very busy when we went so we had to reserve a table for an hour after we arrived so would recommend booking a table beforehand.
This is a great place to stop in for a pint! Beautiful interiors soaked in history! The snug booths are very fun to sit in with friends and chat or play cards over a drink.

JAMES ST REVIEWS
Wow what a fantastic meal we had last night, my partner and I stopped in for the steak special before a show at the opera house, the chateaubriand was to die for and we’ve found our new favourite sauce, cafe de Paris, which I had never heard of before. Friendly, welcoming, great atmosphere. Very impressed. Cannot wait to come back!
What an incredible meal! My partner and I visited James St to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were so patient, polite and kind, making excellent wine suggestions to complement our menu choices. The food was delicious from start to finish from the beef carpaccio to the Steak and the Turkey to beautiful sticky toffee pudding. We love this place and will always be returning it’s a true credit to the James Street crew! Thank you!
So deserving of a 5 star. Absolutely amazing service and food. Cocktails were stellar too. Thank you James St, we will 100% be back!!

MORNING STAR REVIEWS
I've spent 5 years away from Belfast. Came back here, and the food is still amazing. Beetroot Wellington is extraordinary, sad that my favourite dish disappeared from the menu, but well it's been a while... The ambience here is very Irish the service might be a little bit slow because of abundance of customers, but very professional and friendly.
Morning Star in Belfast exceeded our expectations! We stumbled upon this gem because of the incredible singer, Nick Scot, performing outside. His mesmerizing performance made our night unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better evening. Fantastic job!
Was here a number of years ago and nothing has changed, food & service was excellent,. The staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend a visit even just for a drink x.
