3 Best British Restaurants in Norwich, UK

Stumbled across this place on a day trip to Norwich. Unfortunately there were no tables available at lunch time when we popped in, but the lovely waiter was able to reserve a table for an hour later on in the afternoon... . Wow... We were so pleased that we had waited and returned. Bill's is a beautiful, quaint place, which was absolutely buzzing with chattering people all enjoying the food, ambience and service. We were shown to a fantastic spot by the window which overlooked the bustling city. Quickly served with drinks by a smiling, friendly waitress, who then gave us enough time for us to peruse the menu and order. The food was simply 'out of this world' . A 'different' menu choice to our normal hunts, But my goodness, the food was delicious. Throughout the meal my daughter groaned with delight and my husband didn't speak, just ate! (a firm signal of tasty food lol). Can't fault this place at all. 5 stars all around and obviously everyone else in Norwich agrees... Very busy but this did not effect the service or standard of food. Well done to everyone at Bill's!! We shall definitely return!! Xx.

Big thank you to George who served us today. He was so friendly, chatty and attentive, always making sure to check we had everything we needed. Great to have someone make such an effort with the customers and make them feel so welcome! All the staff were so friendly and all looked genuinely happy to be there - which can be such a rarity in hospitality these days.

Bottomless pancakes were great. We had two servings of dessert pancakes. I am not sure if they do savory ones as the chocolate sauce was quite rich and heavy.

We had a great evening at The Cosy Club Norwich! The food was absolutely delicious. We tried the Pan Fried Sea Bass, Salmon Fillet, and Spicy Chicken, and each dish was cooked to perfection with great attention to detail. The flavors were outstanding, and the presentation was beautiful. To complement our meal, we chose the New Zealand Sauvignon, which was a delightful choice. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the waiters were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Their attentive service made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great evening at The Cosy Club and would highly recommend it !

Came here for my little cousins birthday and we had a great time. The food was great and the whole place was a vibe from the downstairs washrooms to the beautiful ceiling, everything was a 10/10. I will definitely recommend the steak and the black truffle ravioli!

Atmosphere was brilliant & Excellent service from Christie throughout our visit. Very dog friendly & water bowl brought as we sat down. Food well presented & a good menu. Dietary restrictions: Staff checked allergies before we ordered & both food & drink came out marked for allergies.
