Recently enjoyed a lovely lunch (Gammon steak + pineapple) here with my mum. Great food - can certainly recommend the Raspberry Ripple Arctic Slice for dessert! Very nice table by the doors opened onto the outside eating area - our waitress, Jo, was very pleasant and helpful. A totally wonderful lunchtime experience.

What a lovely place! Came here for lunch with family on a Sunday. Plenty of room to sit either outside at shaded tables or inside in the pleasant interior. Great choice on the menu and everyone agreed their meal was very tasty. Generous portions and reasonable price. Already planning a return trip.

We enjoy coming to the Liz. We had lovely food in a beautifully decorated pub. Shane who served us was funny and took care of us. Definitely made our experience better. we will be back very soon.

Although there didn’t seem to be too much choice for me ( I’m gluten and dairy free) the waitress said anything GF could be made to suit. The chicken supreme was absolutely gorgeous. So tasty and cooked to perfection. My husband had the haddock and chips, which was also very good. The whole pub was spotless. We are staying at a wonderful cottage in Hayfield and will definitely leave recommendations for other visitors to call in at your pub. Thank you.

Had a wonderful evening, everything from the moment we arrived was just perfect. Great atmosphere, amazing food and caring and attentive staff made the visit just perfect. My aunt who following an accident has limited taste sensations was delighted with her curry choice and how the chicken was cooked to perfection. It was a delight to see her enjoy a meal. Keep up the good work we will definately return.

Always great food and attentive staff. The dining area is split between casual and fine dining. Both are top draw. We have yet to have a bad meal there. The meat is excellent. Parking is good. I would certainly recommend it.

Went in for lunch for the first time today, after one visit it is safe to say I have found my new favourite lunch spot. We had a friendly welcome from the man working and his service was excellent. The food was delicious, we had the chicken sandwich and fish sandwich and shared the halloumi fries, it was all great and the ingredients all tasted very good quality. The decor inside is beautiful.

From the delicious food to the amazingly friendly staff. The ale and beers was a big thumbs up from my husband. Gorgeous little pub but lots of seating areas including outside. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Lovely food and great atmosphere. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The bar snacks are great value for money. All the food I've tried there it's been very tasty and good quality. Highly recommended.
