Great spot for a carvery in Stockport! The gammon on the carvery was next-level. Juicy, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of saltiness, it was absolutely delicious. The rest of the roast was good too, but that gammon stole the show for me. Service was spot on, super friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was really warm and welcoming. It's one of those pubs where you can just relax and enjoy a proper hearty meal. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

An excellent place to have a nice informal meal with family and friends. I had the steak n ale pie special, which tasted great, and others had a very nice carvery. Would recommend if in the area.

Visited on my birthday for an evening meal. Food was delicious, I love the Tuscan Salmon. The service was great, Shannon was really friendly!

We had an 18th birthday party downstairs in late August. We thought we'd left it too late but luckily for us, the midway had one slot which was perfect for us. Absolutely brilliantl venue. Food was superb, all guests thoroughly enjoyed. Brilliantly done young Sam behind the bar looking after everyone with their drinks. Big thank you to the chefs for all the preparations and quality of the food. Big thank you to all staff at the midway for making everything so easy and very enjoyable. Great party that Jessica will never forget.

Took my sister for lunch and it was quite busy. We had booked. We both had a steak and onion baguette which arrived quite quickly. The only delay was paying the bill and we ended up going to the bar on the way out. Nice atmosphere, lovely food and I think it's busy because of the above!

What a lovely pub... Totally dog friendly and the staff were amazing. My partner had the shepherd's pie that's in the picture. We can't thank the staff enough for the welcome and fuss they made of our dog also. We don't live in the area but the reviews and the fact that they are dog friendly made us visit this pub. If we are ever in Stockport in the future we will definitely visit again. Thank you... From myself my partner and Peanut our dog. They don't have a car park fyi.

Lovely little pub we found looking for somewhere to hang out before my son's train. The food was absolutely top notch and the service very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Took my mum here for Sunday roast and we weren’t disappointed. Was hands down the best roast we have had in a long while. Really great portion size and quality, loved the gravy and home made yorkshires. Very happy customers!
