Toni was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process and the cake for our wedding day was beyond incredible! The venue even commented to us that they have never know a cake go so fast! Toni helped us bring our vision to life and our samples helped us choose the perfect flavours for us. Nothing was too much trouble and the final result was stunning. Amazing taste and design, everyone there on the day has commented to us about how much the loved the cake. The venue saved us some too and it lasted really well! Toni also created us some matching gluten free cakes which were very well received. I would never hesitate to use this bakery in the future. Cannot recommend enough!!

From the moment we met Toni we knew that our cake would be fantastic and we were right. Throughout the process she was friendly, professional and helpful. On the day the cake looked fantastic and was delivered without issue. The cake tasted absolutely amazing and my only regret is that we had to share it with all of our wedding guests!! Our wedding cake from Red Velvet Bakery was absolutely amazing! It looked beautiful and was exactly what we asked for. It also tasted incredible- we went for layers of raspberry & white chocolate, chocolate orange, and blackberry & elderflower. The tasting beforehand was great fun and Toni was such a lovely person. Would 100% recommend!

Getting a cake with the Derby cake maker was the best decision I have ever made. Other than marrying my fella! I had been let down by a cake maker near me, whom I'd asked to make a lemon sponge tall one tier navy cake with details. I contacted the Derby cake maker with 6 weeks to go until my wedding. She was understanding quick to respond and did everything I wanted and needed with no fuss. The cake she made was beautiful and incredibly pretty. It was exactly what we wanted she asked she right questions which is what i needed as stressed so close to the wedding. We spoke over watsapp and the phone to check the order. Additional details were added and suggestions made. She even delivered it to the wedding venue (the westmill) and set it up with no problems. She made the whole process easy! Thank you. Wish I had met her to say a proper thank you. But thank you so much for making my cake stress free and super delicious. Five days on were still eating the cake! We love/d it! I would like to say how impressed I was with the cake that Michelle, from Derby Cake Maker, made for us for my daughter's 1st birthday last week. Michelle was really helpful in helping us design the cake for the Flopsy Bunny Peter Rabbit birthday party theme and was patient when we couldn't decide on things straight away! As for the cake itself, we opted for a classic Victoria sponge with raspberry jam. We had requested it to be milk free due to a lactose intolerance and you wouldn't have known that it was different to any other cake. As for the icing and the design, it exceeded our expectations and we were blown away with the craftsmanship. We would like to say thank you again to Michelle for all of the effort she put into the cake for making our daughter’s first birthday so special - we hope to book you in for next year!!
