Friendly super fast service. best fish and chips in Derby. highly recommended. Fresh cod superbly cooked to perfection.This place just won an award for best fish and chips in Derby. I see why.

We've lived in derby for a long time but this was the first time trying Shelton lock fish bar, and I'm not going anywhere else. Excellent traditional fish and chips, delicious delicious white fish, good chips and the portions are very generous, highly recommended. I'm just sorry to be this late to the party.

This is a fish and chip shop, why are asking about tennis courts, its rated as the best chippy in derby, and won numerous awards for food hygiene, staff are quick and friendly, what more do you want.

Best Chippy in Derby. I spend alot of time travelling but always look forward to getting back to eat from here. Quality food and friendly staff.

Visiting Derby last weekend,Googled Chippie near city,Gerard Street Fish Bar was recommended,so walked up and was not disappointed,excellent quality and portion size,would recommend.

I have know the family owns the chip shop for years, when their dad ran it before he re- tired, now his boys now run the business, I always order from there, Mario & his tean do a excellent job 100% customer service. Keep up the good work.

You know you're at the right place when the queue is out the door .... Everything is cooked fresh and piping hot. The wait was not excessive either.... Will definitely return.

Had Cod,chips and peas,was excellent and cooked the Cod properly (unlike Zans) owner and staff very friendly (unlike some of Zans) parking outside.

Fantastic traditional tasty fish and chips Probably the best in Derby for Takeaway and Delivery very reasonabley priced would definitely recommend.
