Gary is polite, professional and punctual. I was delighted with his excellent communication skills from booking him over the telephone, followed by confirmation messages, reminders, and on the day, an automated message giving me his ETA, which was very welcome as it was an 8:00am appointment. Modern sweeps are clean & tidy and I was delighted that he took away all the ash and gubbins from the sweep. Additionally there was not one mark left on the light wooden floor! Gary is happy to share his knowledge and even recommended a book by Lars Mytting called “Norwegian Wood” (Chopping, stacking & drying wood the Scandinavian Way!). All in all an excellent service and I highly recommend Gary Walker for a high quality chimney sweep service at a realistic price point.

Gary visited my home today to complete an inspection and sweep of the log burner to ensure it was fitted correctly and safe to use (we have just moved into the property and burner fitted by previous owners). From the start of booking, we received great communication and confirmation messages of the booking, date and time he would be arriving. Gary was very friendly, efficient and professional throughout the visit and left no mess which is a bonus! He also provided welcomed advice and explanations throughout and is clearly very knowledgeable. Fantastic service. Very easy to book and we were kept up to date with the appointment time. Gary is very knowledgeable and was able to clearly explain to me what was wrong with my log burner and what I could do to stop it from being an ongoing issue. The service was quick and spotless.
