ST MARTIN IN THE BULLRING
Edgbaston Street, Birmingham B5 5BB Directions
Since 1263
Here’s The Deal:
"St Martin in the Bullring was established to offer the local community people with traditional religious services. It is one of the most ancient and contemporary buildings in the locality. The old church building was outnumbered by the increase in visitors, so a committee was set up in 1873, to demolish the old building and rebuilt a bigger building. St Martin in the Bullring was rebuilt and was officially opened for the people to visit and attend the prayers. The church allows guided visits on Wednesday to Friday. There are shops set up to buy the bible and great refreshments at reasonable prices. It is the original parish church of Birmingham that stands between the Bull Ring shopping centre and the markets."
