COVENTRY CATHEDRAL REVIEWS

One gets kind of an eerie feeling, standing in what used to be the nave of the ancient cathedral and reflecting on what happened there about 80 years ago. What is left of the cathedral represents a very powerful symbol, and in my view it was definitely the right decision to leave the remains, for future generations to be reminded of the horrors of war. And then, in stark contrast, the adjacent modern and truly beautiful cathedral. The two - old and new - blend in with each other perfectly. I felt truly touched by our visit! We would have loved to also visit the Tower and the Blitz Museum, but sadly they're opening hours are extremely limited. Hopefully I can arrange a future visit on a day when they are open.

Fantastic. Old & New! We've been 3x within the last year. The 1st time, my husband & I & twice since then with friends & family. Everyone loved the experience. Make sure you check the hours to go early enough & do try walk through the museum in the destroyed cathedral; well worth the extra time.

Beautiful slice of Coventry culture and history. The accessibility of the main courtyard paired with the new cathedral was stunning. The staff was also very helpful in showing us about. Another beautiful place to visit here in the UK and surely in Coventry.

HOLY TRINITY CHURCH REVIEWS

This medieval church is easily overlooked being right by Coventry cathedral but survived the war thanks to the priest and his sons who slept in the porch and hurled away stray incendiary bombs. Well done them! Lovely interior, really unusual huge stone pulpit. Doom painting is well examined. Terrifying! Helpful guides. Stunning place to visit.

This parish church dates from the 12th century and is the only Medieval church in Coventry that is still complete. Above the chancel arch is an impressive Doom wall-painting. The stained glass windows are really beautiful. I particularly liked the window by Hugh Ray Easton.

Nice little piece of history, and a calming place to visit. The windows were nice, with a clean shaven Christ on one. The nearly 500 year old Bishops bible was fascinating too. Friendly and welcoming to all. Very enjoyable.

Great church. Fellowship and worship is great. If you want to know more about God , are a Christian looking for a church to call home or fellowship, this church is your go to place. Come and encounter God. You won't be disappointed.

I absolutely enjoy the service here. The worship session was fantastic, and the teacher was really experimental such that you won't forget the teaching easily.

My to go church for family .Teens and kids sessions. Can't wait for Christmas Carol service on 10th check it out on their website and book.
