It is a listed building, and it has jaw-dropping interiors, which many people have found to be the main attraction of the cathedral. St Mary’s Cathedral faced many renovations and expansion over the years as the local population regularly outnumbered it. The cathedral doors always stay open so that anyone can visit and pray.
