We hired The Jacobites to play at our wedding in Vaujany, France. They were absolutely brilliant ! Great mix of Ceilidh dances and covers. They had everyone involved and gave us and all our guests (not to mention the locals) a night we’ll never forget Cannot thank and recommend Thoren, Ciaran & Stuart enough. As a bonus they also put us in touch with a brilliant piper, Andy MacDonald who played doing the day and evening.

We recently had The Jacobites at our wedding and everyone loved them! We had alot of guests who had never done a ceiledh before and the band were great at talking everyone through! We had a power cut for the last 20 mins or so of their set but this didn't stop them and they did an amazing job of keeping the party going for us! Thank you so much to all of you for making our wedding so fun and special and one for our guests to remember!.

The Jacobites played at our wedding and we could not rate them highly enough! They played a fantastic mix of ceilidh tunes and cover songs which catered for everyone and they were excellent at calling the tunes so that everyone could get involved. They made our special day fantastic and we would very much recommend them. Planning and correspondence was easy & they were very professional. We hope to see them play again sometime soon! We were delighted to have Norman and his duo kick off our conference at the Waldorf Caledonian this April. Their ceilidh performance was a highlight of the event, setting the perfect tone for day 2, even those nursing hangovers! I highly recommend the ceilidh experience; it’s a unique and enjoyable way to start an event. Booking a morning ceilidh is especially recommended if you’re looking for something a little different. Thank you, Norman, you were great!.

An absolutely phenomenal ceilidh band who are extremely talented and with a brilliant insane and varied repertoire. This is not your grandmothers ceilidh. Want an energetic and amazing band to give you a rock ceilidh? These guys are your band. Norman was fantastic to talk to and really built a relationship before hand. All the band mates were super friendly. Also they have an amazing database/ website where you can request music for the Dj set but also register your first dance song etc – whatever you want. Couldn’t have asked for a better ceilidh- thank you Norman and the rest of the ceilidh band you made our wedding even more special! X.

We recently had the band play our wedding at Carberry Tower. I could not be happier with the overall experience. Norman took the time to communicate and meet up with us prior to the day and the band’s performance on the night was darn near flawless. They took the time to understand the demographic and experience level of the participants and the playing and calling could not have been better.

Roddy and his jolly ceilidh band were excellent, it was such fun and we had great feedback from our delegates! I would highly recommend the address to the haggis - so beautifully done but also with some great humour! We danced and laughed the whole night. Great way to end a conference on a high!

Reel time played at our wedding party and it was absolutely incredible! Neither of us are Scottish so very much appreciated the patience of the band calling the steps. The ceilidh was amazing and the cover band was so energetic, there was never a lull in energy. Everyone had a great time and we thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a modern twist on a classic ceilidh!

The band delivered an excellent performance at the company 40th celebration. Our guests loved it!
