Here’s The Deal:
St Patrick's Church is a Gothic Revival style church, established to serve the community people with religious services. It is said that the church was developed through three phases. At the initial stages, the church was only serving tens of people from the locality. As the years ran, the population outnumbered the capacity of the church. A new church building was planned, and the construction was completed in 1845. St Patrick's Church is popular for the parish community, which serves them with individual ministries. The church's organ is serving the community for over 135 years, helping the church's choir and other music events. The church's convenient location makes it accessible within a short time of travel."

57 Hope Street, Mossend, North Lanarkshire ML4 1QA Directions

Since 1868

Here’s The Deal:
Holy Family Mossend is one of the oldest churches in the Diocese of Motherwell, established to serve the community people with religious services. The church celebrated its 150th Jubilee in 2018, which means it has strong historical roots, helping the locals with delivering a traditional way of worship. In 1881, to serve the rapidly growing population, the initially designated school building was extended to give accommodation to 460 pupils. Holy Family Mossend church was also outnumbered by the overgrowing community population. In 1883, the erection of new church building began with the new design by Messrs Pugin. The new church building's construction was completed in 1884 and was officially opened for the local to attend masses and worships."
