SUMMERLEE HOUSE REVIEWS
Our Papa was cared for here with tremendous compassion and patience. The care was excellent, the staff were all very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Couldn’t have asked for a better home. Our Papa loved his days, he had more company and became more active, joining in games and interacting with other residents. He literally had the time of his life and asked why we hadn’t got him there sooner. Choosing a residential home can be a very emotional process, even after our Papa passed the level of compassion and empathy from the team was moving. As a team they really do care, some staff members even attended his church service. If you are considering Summerlee I wouldn’t hesitate. It was the best decision we ever made. Thank you to the wonderful team at Summerlee.

HATTON LEA CARE HOME REVIEWS
Honestly can't thank each and every single staff member in the care home for their care and compassion for my dad. My dad went in because his wife had dementia and didn't want to be without her. My dad was also diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer so we had both of them with an illness at the same time. None of them got to come home since they went in on February this year. Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 21st July in the home, the last 6/7 months he spent in here I couldn't have asked for him to be cared for more than what he was. Each and every single person that works in belvedere unit couldn't have done more for my dad and us as a family, each last days I spent with my dad I was catered for with lunch and anything I could ever need, the head nurses charity and vicky and the manager Carol were absolutely fantastic with everything and we as a family can't thank them enough. Thankyou everyone who took care of my dad until his final days.
Our mum was in the excellent care of the staff from January until she passed away peacefully on 24th May. The staff showed great professionalism and immerse empathy and compassion. They kept a close relationship with mum and family members offering a great support network over a very difficult few months as her condition naturally deteriorated due to her chronic illness. I have fond memories of a sing-song on Valentine's night when mum was singing along with everyone. The staff do their best to create a cheery atmosphere. I have the highest of praise to offer all the staff who helped during those few months and especially the way end of life care was handled with the utmost respect for.
Nice friendly staff and most residents are happy with how they are treated. Covid means they need a resident hairdresser.
