“Stoke Minster is one of the oldest churches in Stoke-on-Trent. The church has served the local community for centuries with Christian worship and services. Stoke Minster is the historical and civic church for the city of Stoke-on-Trent. The exquisite architecture was designed by architects James Trubshaw and Thomas Johnson. The stained glass windows are very popular among visitors and tourists. Stoke Minster offers groups and activities for children and youth, including the Young Seekers group, which meets occasionally. The main Sunday service of Holy Communion is at 10:30 am. Activities for children and young people take place most weeks, with the Young Seekers group meeting in the foyer. The first Sunday of each month typically features an all-age service with a talk or activity. Set in several acres of greenery, the church is also a perfect venue for weddings and ceremonies.”
