Amazing service, extremely tasty and filling meal which is worth every penny. Everything is fresh and the box comes packed with fish and chips. Great place.

Amazing hot tasty fish and chips. The best in the game. No other place comes close to Mother Hubbards. Accept card payments. Nice and clean interior with plenty of seating.

First of all the staff were magnificent 4, two working on counter and 2 in the back making good food. the front 2 ladies took the order with highest professionalism. Service was warm and efficient, with staff who were friendly and attentive. The fish was impeccably cooked – perfectly crispy on the outside with tender, flaky fish inside. It’s clear that the fish is of high quality. I recommend this place to anyone loves fish and chips. Thank you.

Friendly staff and good food. Haven’t had a good fish and chips in a while but that was top quality. Not the biggest fish but very tasty. Curry sauce was better than most I’ve had too. Friendly welcoming staff and the lady spoke to everyone and clearly cared. Will be my go to from now on.

Pop in here from time to time as we live just down the road. Chips are always nice. My Wife likes the fish, and I usually get battered sausage. Batter is always golden, crunchy, and never overcooked. Staff are friendly and always have a chat while preparing your order. Proper local community fish shop.

I've been buying fish and chips here for years. I've moved around the country on occasion but my mum lives round the corner so I've managed to carry on stuffing my face occasionally. I'm moving to Scotland so my visits will be a lot less frequent but I'll be back, and if it's a quiet lunchtime it'll be nice to have a chat and catch up.

Best fish and chips in Huddersfield and fair to say best I've had anywhere. Great value, friendly staff and good location. Made to order, flaky fish with a delicious crispy batter and chips are amazing. Been here many times and 5 stars every time.

First time trying here, I thought I would give it a try with the reviews being so good. Best fish and chips I've had in Huddersfield by far. The fish was absolutely delicious and the curry sauce was lovely aswel. I will definitely be returning. Customer service was on point aswel really nice people what work here.

Amazing value and quality food the customer service is excellent staff are always welcoming they serve the best fish and chips in Huddersfield.
