THE ELITE FISH & CHIP COMPANY REVIEWS

Our 'go to' place for birthdays , anniversaries or just when we want a treat. We turned up unexpectedly at a busy time , however the staff soon put tables together and within five minutes we had ordered and food was being brought out to us. Fish was chunky with lovely batter , chips not greasy and mushy peas were real yummy. Fresh bread for the bread and butter and we were given a pot of tea with extra hot water as we had asked for. Altogether , my family ate everything (which with two fussy children isn't always the case). Absolutely 100% recommend.

Really nice here, food, staff and prices are excellent. I would strongly recommend the Elire fish and chip restaurant. Not so good today when we visited, the fish was very very greasy. Revisit today 21/02/2023 better today. The tomato sauce you get a very small amount come on Elite put the bottle a the table. Had another visit this Sunday 21/07/2024 fantastic excellent food and lovely staff.

Dining with a large group, the service was friendly, helpful, informative & quick. Foods arrived within 25 mins, having 2 of the homemade fishcakes & chips was enough for me! The "WC" was clean, compact & facilitated well.

Whilst we were away we visited, we were very impressed by the size of portion, everything was freshly made. The fish was really good and the chips were excellent. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

These are the best chips in the area. I am a bit of a chip connoisseur so when I find the perfect chip, I have to spread the word. The staff were fantastic, too.

Fantastic chippy - my first visit there - asked for skinless cod and chips, no problem... lovely piece of cod and well cooked chunky chips... Perfect.

I'm up here visiting friends and family and we had fish and chips from Fish King. The best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Generous portions. My friends always use them and have never had any issues. Next time I'm up I'll be having them again.

Great fish and chips!! The batter contains no milk so it’s perfect for anyone with milk intolerance. The staff are really friendly and I get served quickly. The food is delicious and there’s plenty in their portions. I definitely recommend here.

Came in yesterday never been in before first impressions were very good the place was spotless the food in the warmer looked fresh and the staff seemed friendly we were served by a young girl named Emily she was very polite and smiled all the time made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent couldn't fault it at all we will definitely be back.
