Goodings Funeral Services is one of the most caring, considerate, respected and professional Funeral Directors I have ever come across, so much in fact, my son has instructions to have them care for me when my time comes. I am appalled at the recent accusations directed to them and would like to reassure anyone who wishes to engage with Goodings to do so without any trepidation. They are lovely, kind and caring people who go the extra mile to make you feel listened to, understood, respected and informed at every step. This also include a very kind catch-up with the family to ensure you are doing ok, very few, if any, funeral directors do this! As some of you may remember my mum recently passed away. When she was putting her affairs in order she expressed her wish for Goodings Funeral Home to be her directors of choice when the time came. The day mum passed I called @?Xina?, not only as a funeral director but also as a friend, she was wonderful. She explained everything I needed to do while making sure I was aware I was under no pressure and she was here for me every step of the way. Having Xina and Peter direct my mums funeral was non negotiable. The attention to detail was paramount, the empathy and understanding shown was extremely comforting and showed us (myself and my sister) that we were in good hands. Losing a loved one is never easy but Xina and Peter made everything a lot easier and bearable. Thank you.
