we would like to thank John and all of the staff including Chris the Humanist at John Hogg funeral directors for planning and delivering Dad's final journey. Which was dignified, extremely professional and an excellent support to the family at this extremely and very difficult time. The attention to detail was very professional delivery of service alongside kindness took the pressure off the family when it was needed the most. We thank every member of the team from the bottom of our hearts we can't thank you all enough especially John.

We arranged my fathers funeral with J Hogg Funeral Directors and I found the firm to be very professional in every aspect from taking my father into care and making all of the funeral arrangements as per my fathers wishes. Nice people to deal with and the whole funeral service from the church to the crematorium and after was spot on. I would not hesitate in recommending this firm to anyone needing the services of a funeral director

I would like to thank Gavin and team for the wonderful care given to my late husband Stephen. The care and compassion shown to us as a family and to Stephen was outstanding. Stephen knew Gavin from working in sea road, so I knew it would have to be Gavin we went with Stephen always spoke highly of Gavin and we know now why. Gavin was truthful and honest, showed us compassion, and treated Stephen with dignity and respect. Stephen had a wonderful send off and this was down to Gavin and his team. I used Gavin after having been to several funerals that he had done where I had been very impressed, and I can honestly say I was not disappointed with the service I received when I lost my beloved dad in March. Gavin and his team gave me 100% even on the day of the funeral which was during torrential rain! I would also like to mention Joan and thank her for keeping me sane by listening to me go on endlessly about my dad when I needed to talk. I will recommend you all to everyone I know. We recently arranged a direct cremation with Tony Clarke Funeral Directors and had a very positive experience. The whole process was handled with care and professionalism, and it really took the pressure off the family during a difficult time. What stood out was the clarity and honesty around pricing — unlike other funeral directors who list a lower fee but then add the cremation cost on top, Tony Clarke's price was fully inclusive from the start. No surprises, no hidden extras — just respectful, straightforward support based entirely on the family's wishes. Highly recommended.

What can I say from very first phone call to even after the funeral Christine and carole were truly truly amazing so caring in everything and kept in touch in every step of the way, they are so personal and sincerely care very much. I could not recommend them enough felt as if I knew these ladies for years. Could not have been any happier with everything they done.
