Home Instead is simply the best care agency I have come across. Due to our circumstances, we had to try several agencies for my elderly mother before we found out about Home Instead. With this agency, my mother feels cared for by the staff who attend to her needs as they spend every minute of the call helping and interacting with her. I'm very impressed.

Home Instead have been supporting my mum for a couple of years now. I am really pleased with the service they provide and so is my mum. I’ve met a few of the caregivers and they are always helpful and friendly. They assist Mum with anything she needs, even walking her dog if required. They are always punctual and efficient and the main thing is they are reliable. There have been times when I’ve required a couple of extra hours of support from them and this has been managed very quickly by the team, without any issues. I can highly recommend them.

I find all the carers that come to me are brilliant with the helo they give me always on time, they are excellent with anything they do for me.

We have been using the services of Helping Hands for about 6 months and have been really impressed by the carers and the support of the office team. Everyone has understood the gentle approach we have wanted to take to introduce companionship type care. The office helped us to introduce this kind of support gently and with sensitivity. The carers have all been excellent - really understanding of our needs and providing the right kind of support for my mum-in-law enabling her to live a full and relatively independent life.

I am sure this review is long overdue. My mother is extremely happy with the overall service. Although frustration does occur it is rare and often on night shifts when Mum gets tired. All of the carers, bar one, are extremely caring and thoughtful. The arrangement is perfect for the present circumstances.

The carers have been helpful, charming, well-dressed and cheerful. They always look to see what washing needs to be done and offer to make meals and always make a coffee before leaving. The bed is made and clothes are tidied away.
