I've never stayed at this Hotel before, and was pleasantly surprised when I spent a night there earlier this week. Nice quiet rooms, plenty of friendly Staff, lovely breakfast and a great location. Will definitely re-book when next in the area.

Lovely staff in a very charming character hotel. Service and quality of food are excellent. Nothing seems to be too much trouble with requests. I have stayed here many times and am not disappointed each time I visit. Brilliant location for the train station and central Chelmsford.

Great hotel. 5 mins walk from the station, 10 from the high street. Onsite, easy access parking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Attended as a meeting guest but the food that was being offered looked delicious.

PONTLANDS PARK HOTEL REVIEWS

Came for Sunday lunch and booked online the day before. We all had a roast and it was reasonably priced. Beef was cooked perfectly, pork was tender and juicy. The crackling was a particular highlight! Roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft inside, wonderful arrange of vegetables. My only small comment would be the red cabbage was a bit too sweet, otherwise perfect! Service from the team was top notch. All had done with a smile. Would definitely come back again!

Came on the 16/08/2024 for a wedding reception. I was greeted by Helder who gave us a very warm welcome and walked us to the room. After the wedding Helder done everything possible to make us feel welcome and couldn’t do enough. Absolute asset to the company. 5 stars from me.

I attended a beautiful wedding party. The venue is stunning and the attention to detail was excellent. The location is amazing, beautiful buildings and beautiful grounds.

PREMIER INN CHELMSFORD (SPRINGFIELD) HOTEL REVIEWS

Excellent location and the place looks like almost new. Staff very welcoming and helpful. There is a bar and restaurant on site (or MacDonalds just across the road). There's no room air conditioning so had to open the window for some fresh air. The room was excellent, comfy bed, USB charging point next to bed, good size TV. For the price it is great value. Recommended.

I am always surprised by the quality of the staff in Premier Inns, and think many posher hotels could do with their training. The staff here were excellent, even by Premiere Inn standards. Rooms, breakfast, etc, just as one might expect, though the bed seemed smaller than usual.

The staff are the stars of the show. Extremely friendly and attentive, particularly the Italian gentleman - he is an asset to Premier Inn. I have stayed at this hotel a few times for work and have always had a great service. Well done to the team here!!
