A lovely garden that's only an hour's drive from London, it's a place that's heaven for the botanically curious minded and with a breadth of flowers from all corners of the UK and even worldwide, there's no shortage of what you'll discover here. Although the UK has a myriad of such beautiful gardens, I enjoyed Hyde Hall as it isn't overwhelming and taken at one's pace, you can easily see everything here if you spend the day exploring. Be sure to check out the greenhouse to see a wide selection of seeds that give rise to a variety of chillis and plants - some of which you won't find here on these shores. All in all, worth the price of admission - oh, and the shop will certainly delight, that's for sure. You won't leave empty handed if you're of the horticultural persuasion or want a gift that's different.

It is consistently enjoyable to visit this establishment, regardless of whether you are visiting alone, with colleagues, or with children. There is ample parking available, and it was not excessively crowded despite being during half term. We took a leisurely stroll around the grounds, which offered a variety of attractions. We then proceeded to the restaurant, which can be reached by buggy upon request. We had lunch, consisting of a cheese and ham sandwich for myself and a baguette with mozzarella and tomato for my companion. We each had a beverage, and the total cost came to approximately £13 per person. All of the food is freshly prepared, and there is a diverse selection to choose from. We spent approximately four hours at this establishment and concluded our visit by purchasing plants from the garden centre section, which offered reasonable prices. Absolutely love coming here for a day out with the wife and my nearly 1 year old he can crawl around on the grass and look at the ducks and the flowers, the restaurant is lovely always got to have a cream tea - however I wish they did plain scones as not all of us like raisins but none the less a great day out.

We finally went to the police museum for the first time despite having lived here for 10 years. My daughter absolutely loved it and it was a really welcoming atmosphere for the children. The exhibits are really interactive and encourage the children to get hands on with things. They can try on uniforms, stand in a witness box, have their fingerprints taken. The museum also put on a lot of activities for children young and old.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. I took my eight year old son to join in with the Valentine Crime. We were given a task to solve a mystery murder. Family fun day, with plenty to view about the history of crime.

This was an interesting place to visit, they have done their best with the small space they have. My niece and I enjoyed it also it was free. The lady who helped made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble.
