RAJAH INDIAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS
I've been visiting the Rajah since I was a child in the early 90s - A curry was a Sunday night staple for my family during my childhood. We moved to Australia in 2006 and visiting the Rajah is a must every time we return to Inverness. In the ever changing world we live in, it is such a comfort to know that the Rajah has remained as wonderful as its ever been. Today's visit was no exception, we were treated to an excellent meal, just as incredible as I remember it being, with quick attentive service, for a very reasonable price.
I’ve got nothing bad to say about this restaurant. As someone who enjoys Indian food, this was one of the nicest I’ve had in my lifetime - tasty and freshly cooked. The restaurant itself, despite being in a basement, was well-lit with mirrors and didn’t feel at all claustrophobic - you actually forget you’re underground. The next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be going here!!
The best Indian in town! We always come to the rajah when we fancy an Indian and it never disappoints, it’s delicious every single time! We love the coconut naan especially. The staff are so polite and friendly with quick service, we are always given a little chocolate and hot wipes before we leave which is lovely. We wish there was an option to add a tip on the card machine as we didn’t have money on us and would have liked to have given one. Will see you again soon!

Sam's Indian Cuisine stands out as one of the beloved Indian restaurants, creating a warm and inviting ambience for customers to enjoy authentic Indian cuisine. Sam and his dedicated team have been cherished in the highlands community since the early 80s, delighting customers with delicious dishes. One of their signature offerings, the Lamb Biryani, features tender lamb and fragrant basmati rice, sautéed in ghee (Indian butter) and elegantly garnished with tomatoes. This flavorful creation involves tender chicken cooked with garlic, lemongrass, pepper, onions, and green chillies, delivering a satisfyingly spicy kick. The restaurant offers timeless favourites like Chicken Tikka, Beef, Lamb Tikka, Vegetable, and King Prawn dishes for those who crave the classics. The Lamb Muglai stands out, featuring succulent lamb cooked in a creamy, sweet, tangy chilli sauce.

SAM'S INDIAN CUISINE REVIEWS
So delicious! The lamb was so tender, it broke apart when I just touched it with my fork - this was truly melt-in-the-mouth. The flavours were spot-on! The spices were right, and the taste had us raving about it for days afterwards. The staff was also so friendly. The food arrived quickly. Would absolutely recommend it.
Went for dinner last night. Ordered simple Indian food. Excellent taste. Just like back home. Superb service. And the place was buzzing with people. Locals and tourists. Must tell you something about the place.
Excellent service from polite staff. We didn't have a reservation but they found us a table anyway. The food was made quickly and tasted exquisite. The inside of the restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated and furnished.

TASTE OF INDIA, KYLEAKIN REVIEWS
Been to Taste of India as part of our trip to Isle of Skye. We have ordered Chicken Tikka Madras, Chicken Aachari, Chicken Rogan Josh along with Garlic and Chilli Naan. Taste was as close as it can get to well known restaurants in India. We haven’t excepted such a good taste in a location such as this. I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you want to have a SPICY (Caution: Madras and Aachari were a bit spicy) and tasty Indian food.
This is my favourite place to eat. The staff are friendly, accommodating and if you have food allergies like myself, it’s never a problem. They listen carefully and prepare food accordingly. The atmosphere is always relaxed and busy, which is a very good sign in a restaurant. The food is beautiful and served very quickly even during busy periods. There hasn’t been a single dish that I’ve disliked. I highly recommend this place! It really is a Taste of India!
Hit all the marks on food quality and test. Kingfisher and IRN BRU were cold. Naan bread and special rice worked well with meals.
