“Mowgli Street Food was founded by Nisha Katona in 2016, who built an eatery serving the food Indians eat at home and on their streets. The restaurant proudly supports its local house charity, Claire House Children's Hospice. Very good indian place. Ordered the Butter Chicken, only to find out that rice needed to be ordered extra. Why not just add it to the price, I ask? But it tasted good paired with the mango lassi, so 5 stars from me.

Amazing. Food was to die for. Meat melted in our mouths. Fast service. Busy and just managed to get in without reserving a table. Food came fast. Nothing too much trouble.

Our first trip to Liverpool included a visit to Mowgli, based on a recommendation. We enjoyed juice and small snacks at lunchtime and were so impressed that we returned for dinner to try more dishes. The food, service, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Highly recommend—it's the best restaurant I've visited in a long time, and I'll definitely be returning.

Absolutely loved every moment of our visit! Came here to celebrate both my anniversary and birthday, and Nikita truly made it unforgettable. She was so warm, attentive, and made us feel incredibly special. All the staff were equally professional and welcoming—it felt like being looked after by friends. We’ve loved it to bits every time we’ve come, and this visit was no exception. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable!

Amazing food, presentation outstanding too. Service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Our waiter Prakurthi was polite, attentive & made us feel so very welcome. Highly recommended.

The food here was extraordinary. The customer service was also top notch. Especially the staff Sharanya. She tend to all our needs and was polite and respectful. Will most definitely have more visits in the future.

SULTAN'S PALACE REVIEWS

I’m only back in Liverpool once a year, but I’d read some great reviews and wanted to try it. The food was fantastic. I had keema naan and it was the best naan I’ve ever had. I had a lamb Rogan Josh, the lamb was so soft, with egg pulao rice. All wash down with a nice Chianti. Price was very reasonable for the quality.

My experience at Sultan’s Palace was mixed. It’s the first time I’ve ever finished all my food at a restaurant, but that was mainly due to the small portion sizes. Both the rice and gravy portions were too small to satisfy two people. While the food was tasty, they really need to increase the portion sizes to match the price.

Really nice curry and the lamb kebab was amazing. Nice big portions and the garlic bread was fresh and crispy. I will definitely be coming back again
