TOP 3 DOCKLANDS FISH AND CHIPS REVIEWS

Because of the Arena which has a concert pretty much every night (we were there to watch Texas), the restaurants around the docks are all rammed around 6pm, so we chose to eat here. Best decision ever! Fish was super and the chips chunky, cooked perfectly, and all piping hot. Plenty of tables to sit with s&p available. Highly recommended.

Great taste, quick service, good view when seated at their outdoor dining. Got the haddock and chips and was not disappointed. Haddock was cooked just right, chips were on point, mushy peas tasted great. The dining experience was constantly threatened by some seagulls along the docks although they just stare at you and don't bother you.

We asked for cod fish and chips and not only was it freshly made in front of us but it tasted amazing and the serving was a considerable size. Would definitely recommend.

Yanni's, located in Liverpool City Centre, is perfect for shoppers and tourists. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating, ideal for enjoying a meal while watching passers-by. The shop is immaculately clean, and it was captivating to see Yanni and his wife (I believe) working hard, managing full tables and a constant queue of customers, yet still finding time to keep everything tidy. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxing, despite the busy setting. Payment can be made by cash or card, which is a plus given previous reviews mentioning card only. The haddock was exceptionally fresh with a light, crispy batter cooked in vegetable oil. The chips were just as you would expect from an award-winning chippy. The gravy was smooth and lump-free, the mushy peas were sweet and tasty, and the curry sauce had a pleasant kick and was perfectly thick.

Lucked out in finding this gem! We got here minutes before they closed. Not only did they not tell us off (I worked in the food industry, hated last minute mofo’s), they were friendly and the food was great! We had the fish and chips and the scampi dinner. Bring cash, no cards accepted.

Great little chippy in Liverpool city centre. Worth a visit and if you're after fish and chips this is the place to go. Worth noting it's cash only no card. But there's a Santander bank/cash points across the road.

The finest fish and chips on Merseyside. Have been visiting this little gem for over 25 years and the quality of the food has always been first class. A 4th generation chippy 93 years and still going strong. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Their fish is delivered fresh every day from a supplier from Fleetwood so the fish your eating was only caught the night before.

Stopped here for some fish and chips. Top quality taste and service. Food was cooked fresh, not greasy and served in a tidy box. Definitely recommend.

As always, delicious, freshly prepared food, served with a smile. No wonder we love to go back. Can't be beaten on taste or service. I haven't sampled the whole menu but all I've tried is great. Fishcakes are the very best - freshly prepared on request. Great old-fashioned delight.
