“Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre is a family centre with a large pool, flume and waves, a multi-station gym, exercise classes, multi-purpose studios, and a sports hall. The Leisure Centre offers a fantastic range of facilities suitable for all ages and abilities. Cocks Moors Woods Leisure Centre also provides workout classes, badminton, swimming lessons and courses, and birthday parties for children. Children of all ages use their courses and develop their abilities in different sports, as well as support their self-confidence, teamwork skills, make friends, and more. The centre provides a hall for birthday parties where clients can enjoy themselves with their families. Their friendly and experienced team is happy to help clients with bookings. They also have a well-stocked cafe where clients can relax. Clients can book a free trial gym membership for seven days. Free car parking and free wifi are available.

2025 Update: They have a fully air-conditioned gym, a 25m swimming pool with fun swim features, including a 50m flume.”

“Stechford Leisure Centre has two pools, a multi-station gym, a sports hall, multi-purpose studios, and a community room. My son had his party here today, I was blown away with how amazing it was!! The staff couldn’t do enough for us, everything was do relaxed snd easy, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The value for money is slso absolutely amazing! I ordered pizzas and chips in advance from the cafe, they were ready and perfect when we were, plenty of space for the food I had brought in. Honestly cannot fault this party! All the kids had a brilliant time and my son hasn’t stopped telling me what a great day he’s had! Thank you so much to all at Cocks Moors Woods, you made my son and his friends very happy indeed.

Great swimming baths, both my daughters did their swimming lessons here and I can’t recommend the staff enough! It does get extremely busy during the school holidays, they’ve just had all the showers replaced so they’re much better than what they were! You have to wear shoe covers if you’re poolside, but you buy these for 50p each at the reception.

Best gym I've ever gone to. Excellent facilities and sessions. Family friendly, strength building body building and Cardio.

I cannot recommend Stechford Leisure Centre enough! As a parent, I was looking for a place where my children could learn to swim, and I found it here. The swimming lessons are incredibly well-structured, and the instructors are not only skilled but also genuinely caring. They create a welcoming environment that helps children build confidence in the water. My kids started off hesitant, but now they love their lessons and even look forward to competitive swimming. Watching their progress has been a joy, and I truly appreciate the emphasis on developing a positive relationship with water.

The gym at Stechford Leisure Centre has completely transformed my fitness routine! With a wide variety of equipment and facilities, I can easily switch up my workouts. I particularly enjoy the group classes; they are energizing and fun, and the instructors motivate us to push our limits. The staff is always on hand to provide tips and support, making the gym a friendly and encouraging environment. Plus, the added bonus of hot drinks and snacks available means I can refuel without having to leave the centre. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking to improve their health and wellness.

What impresses me most about Stechford Leisure Centre is their commitment to accessibility. With two large car parks, including designated disabled parking, they ensure that everyone can enjoy the facilities without hassle. As someone who values inclusivity, I appreciate the effort they put into making sure all members of the community feel welcome.

Almost 2 years at the fitness centre and have to credit management staff who provide excellent services. Fitness suite and amenities are all very good. Key acknowledgements go out to all PTs who run excellent fitness classes which have proven effective for myself in toning and weight loss. A special acknowledgement to Mahdi who has done an excellent job as both manager and PT. Highly recommend newcomers to this centre as excellent service standards are maintained and customer feedback always is taken into consideration.

I have joined this Fitness Centre since the opening. Reasonable membership fees with exceptional customer services as well as the facilities. Fitness instructors are professional and approachable. I would like to say a very big Thank you to Kate, Alan, Bilal and Mahdi. All the classes are very popular but if you want to come to the spin on Wednesday evening you have to book one week in advance, excellent work Mahdi, Thank you

Great pool, with lane swimming. Has the option of kids pool too which amazing to bring the kids to. Personally, I have a gym membership which covers any time access to gym, sauna and steam rooms and two swimming pools.
