BRIGHT HORIZONS PORTSWOOD DAY NURSERY AND PRESCHOOL REVIEWS

We consider Bright Horizons Portswood Day Nursery and Preschool a second home for our little girl. We found Bright Horizons when COVID outbreak was still active and found this was the safest setting for her - they listened to all our concerns and made us feel at ease to register her there despite thecurrent situation at the time. She attended since the age of 1 up until she entered school - and I have to say it was the best decision we have made for her care so far. Admin staff and their teachers are amazing at managing the nursery, making sure children's needs are met and they are cared for with love, kindness and respect. Our little one blossomed in her time at the nursery, made precious friends and more importantly, was extremely happy to go (and sometimes didn't even want to leave!) Highly recommend the setting and a big thank you to everyone at Bright Horizons Portswood.

We transferred our child to the nursery when we relocated to the area. He was very happy in his previous setting, but thankfully he was given a warm welcome at Portswood Bright Horizons and has thrived in both the nursery and preschool rooms. We feel the staff are committed, nurturing and supportive, and both the inside and garden spaces are stimulating, without being overwhelming.

Our child has been attending nursery here since Dec 2023 in the under twos. She is very happy and well cared for. The staff are always positive, supportive, and very caring. The managers have been very flexible with us and all the staff have been welcoming and absolutely wonderful with our child. I feel confident she is in a safe and enriching environment. Additionally, we are a non-traditional family and have always been made to feel welcome.

CO-OP CHILDCARE SOUTHAMPTON REVIEWS

My oldest child has attended this nursery since 2021 and is now in preschool. She has thrived here, has great relationships with the staff and has formed lovely friendships. She always comes back with a smile on her face and tells me about all the activities they have done that day. The long hours are so useful for working parents and knowing they get 3 good meals a day is great. My second child started there this year and he's already loving it. Highly recommend this nursery.

We have just dropped our son off for the last time after 3 years at the Co-Op nursery and throughout that time they have been amazing. Our son has thrived under their care and has loved going. The staff really care about the children and our son has built up great relationships, especially with his key workers over the years. He has made some lovely friends amongst the other children and he does a range of activities each time he goes. Would highly recommend them - we have always been really pleased we chose Co-Op.

My son has been attending the nursery for almost two years, since he was 9 months old. We are moving away so sadly he is having to move to another nursery. We have always found the staff very friendly and helpful and my son clearly enjoys his days there. We have always found communication very prompt and I found the app easy to use. Overall, a really lovely nursery with great, caring staff.

One of the best nurseries I dealt with, the team are so passionate about what they do, very caring and gentle with the kids .. highly recommended if you need a nursery in Southampton.

We are very happy with the experience at Play Away nursery! Our son absolutely enjoys his time there, and we’ve seen great progress in his development. The management is fantastic, always keeping us updated with a detailed log of our child’s day. They truly work hand in hand with us as parents, taking the time to understand our child’s unique needs and how we can best collaborate to support his growth. The manager is always available to listen and take actions. They are very attentive to any changes in our child, ensuring that he’s always getting the right care and attention. Highly recommend!
