Shamblehurst Primary is a school on an exciting journey to outstanding. Using a concept-based learning model, staff begin by identifying the curriculum content to be covered. They identify key concepts that can be drawn out to allow different areas of the curriculum to be threaded together. Their Vision is to discover and realise the brilliance in everyone. Shamblehurst Primary School health, safety and well-being of every child is their prime concern. They take time to listen to their pupils and what they have to say, including the little things. They promote British values at all times. KS2 (Year 3 to Year 6) children are only entitled to a free school meal if they fulfil certain criteria.

St Mark's C.E. Primary School aim for all children to develop their talents, reach their potential and be happy during their time with us. Their staff work as a team, continually reviewing individual progress and exploring new strategies to inspire their young learners. The school offers many opportunities to learn creatively and explore imaginative ideas. They aim to safeguard and promote the welfare of children by protecting them from maltreatment; preventing impairment of children’s health or development. Here at St Mark's, Kidzplay Breakfast and After School Club, offers both. School dinners are currently free for year groups Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
